The Chucking Extension is nine inches in length, excluding the chucking area, for those deep hard-to-reach spots. Using it with TightFit® drill bits provides the utility of an expensive set of "deep reach" extension drill bits. It has a body diameter of 3/8" with 1/4-28 UNF-2B internal threads, a shank diameter of 1/4", shank length of 1 1/4" and is black oxided to prevent corrosion while enhancing appearance.
